libscotch-5.1 software package provides programs and libraries for graph, mesh and hypergraph partitioning, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libscotch-5.1
libscotch-5.1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libscotch-5.1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libscotch-5.1 *
You will get with libscotch-5.1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
